Two business partners shaking hands over coffee

Almost every agency with local clients knows the situation: a client has three or four reviews on their Google profile that do not belong there – from a competitor, from a former employee, from someone who was never a customer. You can see the problem, the client can see it too, and neither of you knows who is supposed to fix it.

That is what the Mapnovi partner programme is for. You sell the service under your own brand, we handle the work in the background. This article describes what the collaboration actually looks like, what the partner portal does and how billing works.

The model: you sell, we work

The partner programme is a white-label service. To your client, removing negative Google reviews is something your agency does – the offer, the communication and the invoice all carry your name. Mapnovi never appears in front of your end customer.

The reason this topic works so well in a sales conversation has little to do with us and a lot to do with the subject itself: the problem is visible on the client's own profile. Nobody has to explain why a competitor's 1-star review hurts. How much damage it actually does, we worked out in a separate article.

Who does what

Two steps are yours, the rest runs in the background.

The division of labour is deliberately simple. You bring the client relationship and the decision about which reviews to submit. We bring the process – and the persistence it takes when a case does not go through on the first attempt.

What the partner portal does

The portal replaces what would otherwise run through individual emails. At partner.mapnovi.de you get:

  • Check locations. Enter an address or a Google link and the profile's reviews are loaded.
  • Select reviews. You mark what should be submitted – you decide, not us.
  • Hand over orders. One order per location, with everything that belongs to it.
  • Status in real time. Every case shows where it stands: new, in progress, removed.
  • Order history. What was submitted, when and for which client – still traceable months later.
  • Billing overview. Per month: how many reviews were removed and are therefore billable.
  • API access. If you run your own client system, orders can be created and statuses queried through the API.

For agencies with several people involved, that last point about the overview matters most: because every case sits in the portal, nobody has to dig through an inbox when a client asks.

Billing: success-based, once a month

Between Mapnovi and you there is no base fee and no minimum volume. What gets billed is what was actually removed – collected into a single invoice, once a month, for the whole period.

What you charge your end customer is entirely your decision. The partner price is the same for every partner; the margin, the packaging and the positioning are yours. Many partners do not sell the service on its own but as part of an existing package – there is an example of that in Becoming a Mapnovi partner.

Three ways partners use this

ApproachHow it works
Screening your client baseYou go through your existing clients and check which locations have problem reviews. That gives you a concrete reason for an add-on offer – with no cold calling.
Part of your packageIf you already sell websites, SEO or ongoing support, this fits into the existing package. The offer feels more complete and the benefit is visible to the client.
Door opener with new clientsA visible problem that gets solved quickly builds trust for bigger projects. The first result often lands before the first big contract.

What we do not promise

Transparency is part of a partnership, even when the answer is inconvenient:

  • Nobody can guarantee a removal. Google alone decides. For reviews that violate the policies, experience puts the success rate at around 90 per cent – a figure from experience, not a promise.
  • Legitimate criticism stays. If someone wants a genuine, accurate review taken down, we are the wrong address. That is what replies are for – see the guide to negative Google reviews.
  • Reviews with an owner reply. If the owner has already replied publicly, that reply has to be deleted before the review can be submitted.
  • Timing. Affected reviews are usually gone within 12 to 24 hours. Individual cases take longer.

The next step

Create a partner account, get it activated, check your first location – the rest follows from what you find on your clients' profiles.

You can register directly at partner.mapnovi.de/partner-register; our team handles the activation. If you would rather talk first, you will find us on the contact page.
